I have been living in Islamabad since last twenty days and literally I agree that its a comfort food and I loved its pulao. Since I am a Karachiet, the quantity is enough for me atleast.

Well I've just one issue with title.. I think islamabad national food is wrong. Islamabad is not country and national word is used usually for a country.

Bilkul sahi. People living near the equator, or the coastal region tend to eat spicier to beat the heat. Eat spicy you sweat and your body cools down. Weird but that's how science works

Garam fridge se nikal ke nahi ki jaati hai kheer. India me kheer banti hai which is hot and that is served. I prefer to keep it in the fridge and enjoy the next day. Never heard ki koi fridge se kheer nikal ke garam kar raha ho.
